I know you posted a route going form Eastern ON. I marked it down and that is the route we plan to take. I was just wondering if you can tell me if this route goes through major cities and how big the highways are? We are driving through the night, leaving at around 6pm from Kemptville and hoping to drive straight through. Any additional information you can provide would be appreciated!

Hey Val.

Leaving Kemptville at 6:00 should get you to Syracuse about 8:30 - 9:00. We typically drive right through Syracuse rather than use the bypass.

Not sure what you would actually consider a major city, but the only one I would consider major would be Charlotte N.C. We have gone through there in the middle of the night and also about 8:30 at night and do not recall any problems.
I can try to find the notes we took on the trip if they haven't already been tossed.

Hope you have a great trip. Definitely envious now.

With all this snow and now freezing rain coming I can't wait to leave! Only a few weeks now till the March Break!
