It's hard to get into the spirit of the playoffs when the team for whom you cheer failed to make it into the playoffs. And no, it's not the Rangers...

Well another year another missed chance at a cup so that makes how many years now. Oh never mind it is getting to be to many to count hehehe Sorry Leaf fans but you won't have any better luck next year either hehehe. The Leafs are now to old and to tired they need to start rebuilding with some good young talent like the HABS have done over the last 4 or 5 years yes they lost to Tampa in 4 games but they also have a lot of their players in the under 25 years old range so lots of good hockey left in them.

It's just too fun watching hockey down here in Atlanta - and cheering for the Leafs, when most haven't a clue who the Leaf's are and about hockey - and now it's over (except for the Flames.....)

I'm surprised you don't have a small soft spot for the Leafs since their GM is Ken Dryden....... :confused2

......and now on to more important things......should I watch Friends Final tonight or Survivor (see it's a good thing the Leaf's didn't win - I'd have to go out and buy another VCR)

My wife is a redwings fan to and no I do not have a soft spot for the LAFS because of Dryden I think the guy is great but he went to work for the enemy hehe. Good news for RED WiNGS fans Stevie Y is saying he is coming back to play next year he is supposed to make a 100% recovery and even has a steel plate in his face where they had to reconstruct his eye socket after being hit by a puck. He has gotto be my favourite player. I was also told by a close friend of the family who has a Grand son that plays for the Red Wings it is possible that you will not see Cujo or Hull back with teh team and a few others Lang is rumoured to be there next season mind you. I can just imagine what it would be like to see hockey in Atlanta they probably have no idea about how to follow the play mind you they did have the Atlanta Flames before they moved to Calgary so many years ago.
