MYW Upgrading question

I just read on the Allearsnet newsletter that you can upgrade your tickets any time, 14 days after first use. Here's a sort of weird question:

Let's say I bought a 10-day ticket, non-expiring, one park per day. At the end of my trip a week later I have used 5 days, so I have 5 left. Could I then take that ticket to Guest Relations, and upgrade it to a 5 day MYW non-expiry? The reason I ask is that while I'm there I don't really care if it expires, but when I leave, I'd want the ticket not to expire so I could use it again.... but would I pay the non-expiry upgrade price for a 10-day or for a 5-day? (The difference seems to be around $60.)

Thanks!

You can add the no expiration option at any time during that 14 day window. It does not matter how many days you have still unused, you will be charged for the no expiration price of the original 10 day ticket. The add on options (park hopping, plus options and no expiration) are fixed charges and are not pro rated to a per day basis.
