I currently have a MYW package booked this year from 9/26/07 to 10/3/07. This package includes 7 day park hopper tickets. I am also on the dining plan (paid). So thinking ahead to next year and when I might go back to WDW I am currently considering upgrading to an Annual Pass. In order to do this, if I am even allowed, I would need to do the following, correct? I've read a few of the posts on doing this and I just want to make sure I put all of the pieces together properly.
1-When I check in the front desk will issue me my room key which will have my park tickets and dining plan credits on it.
2-Take the room key over to the Conceirge Desk. Ask them to take the park tickets off the room key and put them on separate media. This will keep my dining plan credits from vanishing.
3-Upon first going to the parks, take the new ticket media to the Guest Relations booth and tell them I would like to upgrade to an Annual Pass. The Annual Pass costs $462.21. However, I would use my 7 day park hopper ticket as a $264.12 "credit" towards the purchase.
So is this the right way to do this? Did I skip anything or should I do something different?
