Hi :wave2: , We are planning to be in WDW in 19 days. We are booked 2 reservations because we decided to leave a day early and all of the FL disc. rooms were taken. So our room is ~180 when we arrive about 8pm the first nite which we booked through Dreams. then ~104 the next 4 nights on a different reservation with a FL discount booked thru WDW. Dreams is checking every day for the lower rate and have notated on the reservations that they are together, but they cannot combine them. I am lost as to which tickets to buy and what is cheeper and what about packages? And would I need a 4 nite or 5 nite package The CM who made my longer reservation told me that I could get 5 day MYW tickets with Hoppers and FL res. disc. will cost 234.30 per adult and 194.90 per child. That sounds good to me but does anyone know if I can add the dining to this? We thought we would be spending more on food than the dining option so wanted to see if we qualified. At this point, I have only reserved my Room and some PS's. Traditionally we simply bought the old FL passes when we arrived but I was concerned that I may miss out on a good deal if I dont become informed. Oh yeah, The kids also want to go to a Waterpark, can us Floridians :sunny: add that too?

I think with a package you pay rack rate for the rooms. I don't think you can apply a FL res discount to it. Anyone know for sure?

Hey mousehappy!!

This is off topic but:

We're neighbors almost! Where in pensacola are you? DH and I live just about 20 minutes outside of P'Cola. I work at Ruby's on Hwy 29 in Car City! :teeth:

Hi Tiggerlover91! I live off Scenic hwy. My DW works at GB Hospital!

I know both locations well! I drive by GB Hospital on the way into Pensacola and I used to live off of Scenic Hwy. :teeth: How cool!

I was just thinking but not sure if this would work for you, but why don't you get the Play 3 pass for FL residents. It's buy 2 days and get one free. If you still want that fourth day in the parks, then just purchase the single day ticket at the FL resident rate and you come out a lot cheaper than what you were quoted.
I just ran some numbers: not sure how many of you there are, but I just used one ticket so I could get you the price with tax...the FL resident Play 3 pass base ticket is $126.74 with tax. If you wanted that 4th day in the parks then you could purchase a single day ticket at the FL resident rate for $57.25. That's a total of $183.99. Much cheaper than what you were quoted. You have to decide though, do you need the hopping option or not. DH and I don't as we visit one park a day and just return to that same park later in the evening. Sure you can add the water parks to your ticket, all those options are available.

Just visit THIS LINK to see what works best for you.

I hope I helped a bit,

Denise

I was told you COULD get the dining option even when using a discount code because a "package" means room & MYW tickets. You may want to call Disney and ask them directly because it seems like there's a lot of confusion on this issue (starting with me!).

If you cal...post back and let us know!

Since you're not getting in the first night until 8PM, couldn't you just convert the second ressie into a package and leave that first night as a room only ressie? If you do include that first day and get the dining option, you will be paying for a full day's dining when you aren't spending a full day there. JMO.

Thanx Strait. I am going to do that. if, when I call, I can get the package deal. That dining thing would save us alot but even more without the 1st nite.
