A friend and I are going to WDW in September, just for a weekend eating/shopping trip. Our families are going together in February. Because we can get free dining in September, we're going with the package, which includes two park tickets (that we aren't using in Sept). We've called Disney twice, and gotten two different answers. In order for friend and her DH to use the tickets in February, do we need to buy No Expiration option, or not? First CM said no, tickets expire 14 days after activation (which we assume meant after the first time you used them to enter a park), therefore they wouldn't be activated during September trip. Second CM said we would have to purchase the option, because the ticket is "activated" once you arrive on property. Anyone know which is actually true?
DH, DS and I will have APs in February, so it's not an issue for us. But we are trying to work this out for DF's family. TIA!
