MYW Park Passes

I dont know where to post this - so lets try here with all my friends on the Budget Board.

I am an AP holder. If I go on the all inclusive trip for 10 days - and purchase a X day part pass as well - when does the 14 day to expire clock start ticking?

When I use the past for the FIRST time? Or the Day my vacation package starts?

Trying to decide if no-expiration is needed or not. Because being an AP holder I would not use the MYW Park Pass - on the October trip.

This is what our "disney expert" told us to do, since we've got loads of ticket media and really don't need more but can't pass up the offer (free dining). We're a family of 4--- kids are 9 and 12.. getting ONE day tickets, staying 5 nights... not getting hoppers, just one day that we can use ANY time... will use it a year or more down the road, doesn't expire and it activates for 14 days when you decide to use it.. DOESN"T have to be when you are doing your hotel stay.

Yes it does help.

I am asking cause I have two different answers on the phone with CRO. The first girl told me it expired 14 days after your hotel stay begins.

The second guy told me 14 days after first use ....

So I am looking for the official word - from the DIS Board!!!

The second guy was right

You do not need to buy a ticket = to your # of nights to get the free dining plan. Just 1 day base tickets for everyone. Those never expire (or expire when used, its all the same). You can save them and then apply their value towards next years AP or whatever ticket you need
