MYW packages do or don't?

I currently have AP's because my last trip was 2 weeks plus!...This year we will not be able to do that and are trying to figure out the best deal/approach to vaca this august..if we did MYW w/ dining it seems we would save $$$$ at a moderate as apposed to renewing one AP and waiting for a code (if there is going to be one!) A discount would be great but even w/out one I still would want to go. It seems for 6 nights at a moderate w/ parkhopper plus and dining it will be about $2000 for the 2 of us!!! any suggestions?

If you are planning on going again within the next (few) year(s), why not get the 10 day MYW (no exp.) passes and use 5 days this year and 5 days in the future? Even a 10 day premium (park hopping, and 5 pluses with no exp.) is cheaper than an AP. It is a little bit more this year but you can do another trip for much less (since your tickets are already paid for!!!) If you have AAA you can get a AAA discount with the package.

As far as the dining, that is a personal choice. We are getting the package because we know that we can get more than our $$$'s worth out of it. If you think you will be eating alot of counter service and meals outside of Disney, it may not be worth it for you.

Thanx haygan..I never thought of doing that..that makes alot of sense..I will definitly be going back again in near future so it would be like getting 4 days for less than the price of one!!!
