I am so confused here on this thread too but I want to know if we book a room for 8 nights w/an AP rate and then there are 3 more people needing tickets (1 adult & 2 children) can they get the dining package and the AP holder not????

Doodlebug, I think you are right. I believe that the affordable dining plan is like an incentive for buying a package; ie, paying full price for the room. If you have an AP you can't get the dining plan. A friend just booked and this is how she explained it to me. She hoped for a better rate with codes and they told her you can't have it both ways.
