MYW Package / AAA discount

Just want to confirm, you can’t get the AAA room discount with a MYW package unless you book through AAA. Correct?

I am looking to book for my in laws and they have no need for park hopping or the water park ad ons but they want the dining plan.

Still might be worth it to book the new package. I am only staying 3 nights with the need for a 2 day pass and the dining option. If I price with AAA discount on the room, ticketmaster for the tickets, and OOP for the meals I come to about $1145. I just got this package, plus the park hopping and pluses (which I will not use) for $939.
