MYW online ticket purchase warning!

I purchased 10 day MYW tix for my family of 5 about 2 weeks prior to my trip on 1/29 and arranged for a will-call ticket pick-up.

I printed out the confirmation info. I used over $500 worth of Disney card reward points, and put the remainder on my Disney credit card for about $900. I left my Disney reward card home, because i had effectively "emptied" my reward account.

I checked in at POFQ and was told that I could get my tix from guest services there. When I went to redeem, I was told that the tickets weren't paid for! I about had a stroke, thinking that if I had to re-purchase I wouldn't be able to use my Disney reward dollars, because I'd left the card home!

After lots of checking, they told me to ask at a park, since they had more sophisticated equipment there.

I went to Epcot, and again was told the tix weren't paid for. I explained (again!) what I had done (this time through a plastic shield -- yuck! -- and the finally re-charged both my credit card and my Disney reward card.

Moral of the story: if you purchase your tix online, confirm before you leave that they are paid for!
