We will be going in June with the MYW plan. Question for you, if we go to a character breakfast and need to use one of my son's sit down options but my husband and I pay cash (we want to save those credits for our night out for a romantic dinner at LeCellier - we got a sitter) will they let us do that? I assume the tip would just be paid for my son's portion and I'm hoping we could pay our portion and tip with cash. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Yes, you can do it the way you describe. The smarter thing would be to pay for your son's meal, as it would cost you less. Maybe pay for your son and one adult, which would leave you using one meal credit for a more expensive adult meal. Make sense??

Yes - you can do this. Just tell your server before ordering that you want to use 1 meal credit and pay separately for the two of you. You will be given two bills at the end of your meal. One will show the 1 meal credit being deducted (and the remaining meal credits), and the other will allow you to charge to your room, pay cash, etc.

Hope this helps!

Thank you, I guess I don't understand what you said about paying for my son's meal and using our credit, if we want both of our credit's for LeCellier, we couldn't use his child voucher at LeCellier, correct?? I thought there was a difference in the way the vouchers were for kids vs. adults, am I wrong? If not, that would be a GREAT idea.

From what others have said, there is no difference between adult and child credits (I haven't been yet, but using the MYW Dining in Sept so I have been following this closely). Also, the newest brochure no longer lists Le Cellier as a Signature Restaurant, so it will only take one Table Service credit each for you and DH instead of 2. Here is a link to the updated brochure: http://adisneyworld.disney.go.com/m...gespecific/eng/nontheme/tickets/MYWDining.pdf

As I understand it, all of the meals are encoded on your room key/park ticket, and there is no distinction between the child and adult credits. They are all pooled together.

Anyone in your party can use any of the credits. Many people have been choosing to pay for their child's meal as some locations, and using the additional credits to bump up to a signature meal (which requires the use of two credits), or to have additional tabel service meals.

The plan does not distinguish between children's and adult's credits. When you buy the meal plan, your card is assigned so many table service meal credits. So, you can use them to your advantage, any way you see fit.

This is SUCH great news, thank you. I didn't realize there wasn't a difference, this will save us some money for the meals I had planned to pay for DH and me, now I will just pay for DS and save the vouchers for us. THANKS!!! Gotta love dis
