I was just wondering about what fellow Canadians thought about the dining plan for our trip. We will be in WDW Jan 1-7 (me, DD8 and DS4) and if the dining rates stay the same as 2005, the price would be only $55/day ($35 for me and $10 each for the kids) total price for 7 nights is only $385 US. I know that if we don't get the plan we will only spend about half that since DS and I are smaller eaters. Last trip to WDW we spent nearly nothing on food since we took one 55 lb. suitcase full of it with us. Without this plan, we won't get to any character meals this time at WDW (which I'm fine with since the kids are so excited they hardly eat during these type of meals).
Can I get some opinions on whether or not I should get this?
Also, can I add it 9the dining plan) last minute to my room only reservation with CRO, only then turning it into a WDW package. Since my father is ill, there is always the chance that this trip won't happen and that is why we are hoping to book room only (with CAA discount). Then about 2 days before trip, can I add dining to this?
Also, can I add just dining to room only or do I have to add tickets as well? I would prefer to buy tickets at WDW (again due to possibility that trip may have to be cancelled last minute)
Any thought would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
