Hello everyone. We just used the code to book a September vacation with the free dining plan. I copied off the list of participating restaurants from the Disney website and noticed that many restaurants are listed for the snack option. What are snacks that you have gotten using the MYW dining plan? Has anyone gotten a Dole Whip or Strawberry Swirl ice cream with the plan? Can you get pastries from Main Street Bakery? Thanks in advance for all replies.

I am also interested in this as well. I know I have read that most everone has paid out of pocket for the Dole Whips, but what about other stuff? I have seen lots of people have gotten rice krispy treats, but it is not listed as a snack. So what has everyone gotten other than chips, water, soda and mickey ice cream bars?

count me in as a curious party.
i just thought it would be something from a cart (popcorn, pretzel, etc). but if can get a big cookie from the bake shop, or zebra domes from Mara, that would rock!!!

I would like to know too~
Also, if anybody is willing to share their choices. I am just sitting down now planning what places to eat in Sept. Boy it is hard when you are eating for free!:cool1:
P.s what does Disney give you to so you get the meals for free? :confused3

I'm also curious. I did find this that lists each participating restaurant and then tells if it is available for the snack portion. Thought that it might help others and I hope that it isn't a no no to post the link if it is please just remove... http://www.themouseforless.com/tripplanning/restaurants/MYWDiningGuide.pdf It probably needs an update for the latest participating restaurants, but at least it gives us a place to start.

OOOOhhh! It looks like you can get a Schoolbread for a snack maybe??? :cloud9:

The Patasserie in France/EPCOT is listed in the Disney Dining Guide as a Snack place. I will be using all of my Snack credits there.

Is that the yummy pastry place everyone keeps talking about? LMAO stop by on the last day and take a ton of em home. Wooohooo

We were able to get bottled water and soda, popcorn (not the bucket, the smaller size), chips, Mickey ice cream bars. I'm not really sure what else you are able to get, as these are the only things anyone ever wanted when we were there.

I know these restaurants are listed as snack places in the guide, but that does not necessarily mean you can get school bread, or a chocolate Croissant with your snack portion credit. You might only be abe to get a soda or water there and that is why they are listed, which means technically that every counter service place including bakeries etc are listed in the guide because they do serve soda and bottled water. I would like to specifically know what people have actually used their snack credits for at the parks and at the resorts. Thanks!
