Hi. I've been reading a lot about letting kids share meals on the MYW dining plan. If that's the case, that will leave us with extra meals at the end of the week. Has anyone used the extras for breakfast and was it worth it? Thanks in advance for your input.

We used our extra meal credits for breakfast on the last morning before checkout.

We actually had 4 sit down credits left and we were able to use them for counter service at POP food court. We checked with Guest Services and they said that if we were moving "down" in credits that would be ok.

It was worth it from the stand point of not leaving any credits on the card.

If they are extra sit down meals, and if there are enough left, why not squeeze in 1 more character meal at a resort (like breakfast at Ohana's or Chef Mickeys)?

Thanks for the thought but we will should only have left over counter services . As of right now, we only have 4 table services left over and if we're lucky, we can use them for the Fantasia dinner package. I have read that some people were able to use them so we are just going to keep them open. We are using the others for Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey, Breakfastosaurus, PSB in Epcot and CRT in MK. Should be fun!!

What can you get for breakfast since a counter service counts as a meal and dessert?

Here's a sample of a breakfast at the food court at Caribbean Beach. We used some of our counters for breakfast in early March.

1 ham & cheese omelet with potatoes and a biscuit
1 bowl of sliced pineapple
1 large chocolate milk (nesquik)

1 adult breakfast (scrambled eggs, biscuit, bacon, sausage?, french toast)
1 bowl of strawberries
1 large tropicana? o.j.

There are also choices of a danish and other fruits as the desserts. We chose cantaloupe, strawberries or pineapple daily. Honestly, 2 omelets with the fruit is enough for 2 adults and 2 kids with healthy appetites. :)

Thanks for the info. We are thinking about letting the kids share some meals with us and each other so we can make our counter services last. Besides, when you eat all that food, you can't even move and who wants to feel like that at Disney!

I've also heard that they don't track kids meals vs. adult meals. Is that true?
