:cool1:The last couple of years I have gone for the Ultimate tickets to allow flexibility, but while reviewing the holiday days after realised we have not done much park hopping while on vacation, so this year we have gone for the 8 day MYW ticket. But purchasing this ticket gave me two free days as well, so now we have a 10 day base ticket. Keeping up with me so far... Good I shall continue.. :confused3 My question is although the tickets say you can only use 1 Park per day, can I go to multiple parks in 1 day and use multiple days on the ticket, or are the actual tickets restricted to only allow to be used for 1 park each day. Now that we have 2 'free' days on the ticket, we may visit another park at night for the fireworks and use one of the extra days, as we would have already have paid for parking... :yay: I hope this all makes sense. :confused3

Thanks

Unfortunately not. With the base tickets you can only enter one park per day. You can return to that same park later that night, but you can't use an additional days admission to enter two parks on the same day.

Disney doesn't allow this as basically it's much cheaper to add days after a certain point (only a few dollars difference per day) than add park hopping. I think Park Hopping is $50 per ticket (but not certain of this). If you do decide you want to park hop you can just add this option at the gate on the day.

Hope this helps.

Confirmation of above from Mousesavers, I just found the wording as previous post was posted.:goodvibes

"I am often asked if you can buy, say, a 10-Day Base Ticket and use it as a 5-Day Hopper by visiting two parks per day. The answer is no. You can only enter one park per day with Magic Your Way Base Tickets (the gates will prevent you from entering another park on the same day with that ticket) so you really can't use them as Hoppers unless you buy the Park Hopper Option."

Ah well, I already had my 8 days planned so will stick to that, unless we are tempted to go out again at night after our US and IOA visits.

Thanks for the replies...

You could add the non-expiry option onto your tickets and save the extra two days for another holiday, providing of course that the non expiry option is cheaper than the price of a two day ticket.

We still have days left on 10 day non-expiring tickets that we bought in 2009 and we'll be using them again this year. We'll have to swop my DD's child ticket for an adult ticket as she's 10 years old this time and we bought the ticket when she was 8. This is the last year we'll be using them though, we'll have to buy new ones next time.

A 10 day MYW ticket will cost $226.85 incl tax to add non expiry option.
You can almost buy 2 x 10 day tickets for cost of 1 x 10 day with expiry

Like I said we got the extra 2 days for nothing so we are happy with the 8 visits we have planned, we are only in Disney for 10 days before we go cruising, :cool1: so we are already busy, saying that I am looking at what we can do a on the night we go to Universal, maybe I could the DW's arm...
