Hi,
Leaving in the morning for RPR, can't wait!! Would love to have a late lunch or early dinner tomorrow at Mythos....does anyone think we can get in without ressies tomorrow afternoon sometime, as long as it's not right at lunch or dinner time? Also what is everyone's favorite item to eat there? Thanks for the suggestions!

You can always stop in while you're at the park and make a reservation for later in the day.
I have not had anything at Mythos that I don't like. I've had great seafood there. Don't know if the Corvina is still on the menu, but it was outstanding. I forget what the sandwich was called that I had last year. My FAVORITE thing to eat at Mythos is the warm,gooey, chocolate, banana cake!!!!! YUMMMMMM!

I will be enjoying a meal at Mythos this week...also Tchoup Chop on Wednesday night. Does anyone remember a great dish at Mythos that included pan-seard scallops, some sort of roasted pepper sauce, and gnocchi (maybe sweet potato?) this was on the menu some years back, but every time I have returned it is never served? Can anyone refresh my memory as to what this dish inculded?

Don't know if the Corvina is still on the menu, but it was outstanding.

Sadly, the corvina is no longer available. That was the best seafood I've ever eaten in a restaurant--and I eat seafood out a lot.

Now, I almost always go with the risotto of the day. It is usually excellent, especially if it's the red wine sauce. Yummy!

I will be traveling with my DD 11 and my very picky DS 12. Would anyone know if my DC will enjoy a meal at Mythos? I have heard that the food is great. Do they offer a children's menu?

We ate there Monday - it was fabulous. I had the penne with shrimp & marinara.

Yes the have a childrens menu, complete with burgers etc.

Also there were people who showed uo without ressies and got in. If you have a room card show it, it bumps you to the top of the list. FOL works everywhere excpet Emerils and Tchoup Choup( the other Emerils).

Do they offer a children's menu?

Absolutely. Other than burgers that have already been mentioned, they have One Fish, Two Fish Ravioli, which are fish shaped ravioli. My son likes that with Alfredo sauce but they have tomato sauce or just butter, too. They also offer pizzas for the kids and believe me, Mythos' pizzas are very good. It's a pretty good size individual pizza which DS11 couldn't finish, so my husband ate it for him

My kids love to go to Mythos. It's amazing to look at. They also have a back patio area. (You can eat outside if you like.) Usually my kids (15 & 11) like to go out there while DH and I are finishing our meal and look out over the rest of IOA.

Go. You and your kids will enjoy it.

I had something there last summer that came with gnocchi. I remember because it was the best gnocchi I've ever had. It was nice a light--not like lead balls like other gnocchi I've had.

I once had scallops with gnocchi but I dont recall a pepper sauce. I think it was sage and walnuts with butter, maybe a bit of garlic. The gnocci I think was not sweet potato. I'm sure there have been variations, but this was a delicious dish! I do know we have seen a different menu over the years. I would ask, maybe they remember and can make it! Ya never know

We all love Mythos. The food is excellent. I had a Chinese chicken salad on my last visit and it was the best salad I have ever eaten. The kids enjoyed their wraps and burgers too. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Orlando.
I just wish that I had left room for a dessert - they looked so good.
