I've been reading many posts that say Mythos is the place to eat. My question is... what type of food do they have? What does everyone recommend? Do we need reservations or can we walk in and get a table? Thanks!

This isn't the most current menu but it will give you an idea of the food they serve:

I highly recommend the Chef's Signature pizza...the one I had was out of this world!

You can usually walk in w/o a reservation but it you wanted to make one, you can either use www.opentable.com or call 407-224-4012.

I would recommend the open table reservation - the wait last week at 1:30 PM was 1 1/2 hours. We had reservations and got in in 15 minutes.

We ate lunch at Mythos in January. The cream of mushroom soup was very good. I had a Panini for lunch that was also very tasty. My entire family enjoyed their meals there and the atmosphere was great and the prices were not outrageous like some table service restaurants in theme parks can be. I understand why it is touted as best theme park restaurant. We did not have a reservation, but checked around 11:20 am about getting one and they just put us on a standby list. We had a table in about 20 minutes.

Here is a pic of the menu I took last week:

If it is too large, I can try to downsize it some more.

We went last year. I prefer food that's pretty plain. I got the Salmon. It was okay, but a very small portion. One of the people I went with got the Pad Thai. She said it was great. Her portion was huge in comparison to the salmon.

I think if you like different types of foods it's a great place to go. For me, there were only a few things I would enjoy eating.

Don't they serve dinner at Mythos anymore?

When the parks close early Mythos closes about 3:30. When the parks are open late, Mythos IS open for dinner. The menu is the same for lunch and dinner. They used to also have some sort of express lunch menu...not sure if they still have it.

I was going to try this when we go because I tend to be a simple/picky eater. How big would you say it is? 6'' 8''? Also is it a thin or thick crust?

Sorry I obsess about details until I get there. I like to budget everything out and figure out everything I can so I dont have to make decisions once I get there;)

It was the size of a personal pan at Pizza Hut...maybe a little bigger...8" would be my guess. It's a full meal if you don't eat a lot. The crust was like a hand tossed crust...not too thin and not too thick. Trust me...it's excellent!

Awesome, I trust you! When I first saw the menu I was worried because a lot of the meals are "sophisticated" and my tastes are not... but it was a "Must Try" on our list.

I love the Blueberry and Pistachio Crusted Grilled Pork -- but when the park closes early-ish, I won't eat there. I'd rather hit the rides until closing and eat at the hotel after. The food is good, but not so good that I want to miss out on park time.
