I am reading conflicting things as to Mythos operating hours. Does it serve both lunch and dinner or just lunch? If just lunch it seems odd for a "fine dining" establishment.

When the parks close early so does Mythos. If the parks are open late, then Mythos is open for dinner.
The lunch and dinner menu are the same.
Mythos is always a part of our visits to IOA!

Ok, I'm gonna hafta confess...We've never tried Mythos. There. I've said it. During the day, we spend so much time with our son-parades, characters, "park-bench-people-watching"...These are the things that "make him tick" so it's what we've always done. ::yes::
BUT, if possible, I am hoping to try Mythos this Christmas. Or maybe we'll just stick with Emeril's as our US "splurge" meal.

Any input from the experienced Mytho's folks? :)

i do Mythos regularly but i don't have it on my 'can't miss' list.

I like Mythos but I personally like a few other Universal places more. It's a great place for lunch though.

I love Mythos and if I am IN Islands of Adventure that is where we always go. If we are outside that park then we go elsewhere. It wins awards all the time for best amusement park food, and I love the atmosphere. Over the summer, I need their ac to take a break : )

It's very good for theme park food, but I wouldn't put it in the same category as Emerils. I love the atmosphere, and it's a nice, cool place to chill for a while. The prices are reasonable as well.

I wouldn't class Mythos as fine dining.

It is a really nice place to eat, this year we had 2 lovely meals in it. We gave it a miss last year as we had not enjoyed our previous visit.....service wasn't the best and food not great..........but this year it was of a very high standard.

But I do still prefer confisco grille out of the 2 places. CG pad Thai was soo much nicer than the Mythos one.

Prices are very reasonable, it's not somewhere I would choose for a special occasion.

We hit it each trip for lunch and sometimes twice. This past Saturday we got there before opening and was sat pretty quick. It took 15 minutes for the waitress to even come over. There was only a few tables taken too. It took us 1 1/2 hours before we got out of there. She disappeared for long spans the whole time. Other tables around us sat, ate, and left way before us. Food was great but the service sucked this time.

Well, that stinks about the poor service. :confused3
Emeril's ressie has been made! :cool1:

We really enjoy MYTHOS. We don't go there every time, but we have enjoyed it every time we have gone. I think its a great value. Our last meal at Mythos was only $7 more than our last meal at three broomsticks........

Mythos is a fave for our family, and we did just eat there 10 days or so ago when we went for my "birthday trip" IOA day, love the pad thai and my dd loves the rice krispie treat "sushi". I love the environment and had terrific service, but wouldn't call it fast necessarily or fine dining either. Prices are quite reasonable, we 4 ate, with dessert for my dd, as mentioned for $60, which is roughly what we pay for QS meals usually, so not too bad, I would say. Haven't been to Confisco Grill yet, sounds like I need to put that on my list!

Mythos is my favorite restaurant anywhere. The food, the atmosphere... top notch.. and it happens to be in oen of my favorite places in the world.

Oh you have to try it....it`s so good.

Like you I love Pad Thai......although I enjoyed the Mythos one, I enjoyed the Pad Thai in Confisco much better...it had much more flavour to it :)
