Mythos Hours?

I called to make reservations for Mythos and talked to someone who didn't really sound like she knew what she was talking about, but maybe she did . . . I tried to make a dinner reservation for next Thursday and she said that she couldn't do it. I asked what time was the latest that they took reservations for and she said 2:00. It seemed suspicious since the park doesn't close until 6:00. Is the restaurant really not open for dinner? Does it close before the park closes?

It's not unusual for Mythos to have last reservation at 2P for a 3P closing. When its slow they do close before the park. We usually plan lunch when that happens. Hope you still get to enjoy a meal here.

I just made ressies for Mythos at 4 pm for next Sat. I guess maybe they are open later on the weekends? She said that was the lastest available for that day. I can't wait to try this!!

On a side note - how do you pronounce Mythos? Is it like Myth - as in fictional story - and O

or

My - as in mine - thos?

So confused....

Yes, its the first one you wrote! Like you I was clueless for a LONG time and pronounced it like you wrote it the second time! LOL. I dont care how they say it so long as I get to eat there!

Thanks Jessica!! I knew you would know. I was going to pronounce it the second way, since the first way sounds weird to me. Then I called the direct number and the recording they said it the first way. So then I called central reservations and I said it confidently the first way and she said "What??", like she had no idea what I was talking about!! So, I stuttered it out again and got my ressies, but I still wasn't sure.

I can't wait - it is getting so close. But now my five year old is starting in with the crying and "I'll miss you too much", so I am feeling guilty! Ahhh!!

I am waiting for the email everyone talks about the hotels sending you a week before your trip - I hope I get one!

Our kids have a way of doing that to us! Don't worry and dont feel guilty!! Remind him you will be taking a family trip back to Universal again.
