If you have to choose just one fireworks to go to while in Orlando.......I would choose Wishes!

Mystify is OK if it isn't windy. The water was blowing too much on Saturday night and it was really hard to see the animals etc. on the water screen. It is so much better on a less windy night.

We met up with our son after he got off work at Blizzard Beach and ate dinner with him, rode Kracken, and then headed to find a spot. It was very crowded. We ended up in the patio area down from the Spice Mill-not the one by the front door. The Palm trees were in the way to see the fireworks that went into the sky. There was a good view of the screen and the water and fire that shoots up, though. Closer to the lake down on the lower level probably had a better view.

There were lots of people on the bank over by Shamu Stadium, but don't know what they see from there. I imagine the lazer images on the screens are not good from there, but they probably had a better view of the fireworks.

A lot of people were leaving around 7 when a storm was coming-probably thinking it would ruin the show, but it only rained a short time(while we ate)
and was really nice afterwards.
There was still a big crowd for Mystify though.

Wishes, definitely....I didn't like Mistify all that much. If you do choose Mistify, though, make sure you get a really good spot to watch it from. The water screen images are too light and you can't see the low fountains from far back.

Thats right, we recently watched the Mistify show, and you do really need a good spot to watch it well and hopefully its not a windy day, or it kinda ruins the show

Oh man on comparison.... Wishes all the way. We saw mistify a couple weeks ago and I can't say that i will go back to see it again. The screens were awful you could barely see what the picture were suppose to be. Plus you need to get a good spot like an hour before the show. :sad2:

Ok, so please help me, what is a "good spot" ??? :confused3 not seen this before we planned to, now not so sure? so want to get in the right place at the right time! :)

If you are there on a really busy day, you need to get as close to the lake as you can. We waited till about 20 minutes before the show the last time we were there and ended up not being able to see the overhead fireworks because of the palm trees. You want to find a spot so you are across from one of the 2 screens of water that they show it on. One is towrds the waterfront area. The other is sort of near the Spice Mill restaurant/tower. We have watched it from the patio area there and it was a great spot, but you have to be down on the lower area up next to the fence. for the best view.
There were lots of people that stopped on the bank of the lake on the way back from Shamu's last show. You could see the water, the fire shooting up, and the overhead fireworks from there though. If it isn't a busy night, you can watch that show and still get a good view on the right side of the lake for the screens. If the park is still crowded you might want to skip the last Shamu show, though and save your spot about an hour before. This is one time I would snack( eat my waffle cone with strawberries) or even bring supper to your spot.

We waited about 50 mins before the firework show at Spice Mill, even then it was hard to find a spot to sit. We were also right infront of a screen, but it was still hard to see. I recommend trying to sit as close to the lake as you can, maybe outside near the pearl divers.
