Mystery Pin?

ok, i'll admit it, i'm a novice when it comes to the world of disney collectibles. i've always been a disney fan, but our family made our first, and probably last for at least 5 years, visit to disney world in march.

my kids really got into the pin trading and my daughter traded for one that i can't identify. it's not a character i've ever seen and all my searching hasn't turned up anything. there's no identifying name on the back so i'm stuck. i'm hoping describing it here will help me find someone who can tell me who this is.

it's a little girl in a purple dress with curly purple hair and a purple hat, she even has purple shoes! she's holding a red ball with a black stripe on it. the back says "official pin trading 2004" and it was made in china.

any info you guys can give me on this is appreciated!

It sounds like the little girl in the Rhapsody in Blue segment from Fantasia 2000. Go to pinpics and do a search on Fantasia and see if your pin shows up.

If you go to www.pinpics.com you will see three pins which match your descrition. They are numbers 1996, 5786 and 34868. You can then figure which it actually is.
