MySpace Question

I don't know a lot about MySpace, other than my DD has a page. I don't have the time to have one anyway. But I got this email from DH's ex (below). She obviously doesn't like me, as I don't like her! Why would she send this invite to me? Just to be nosy and maybe put in some nasty comments? I changed her name. What do you think?

she probablly just sent the invites to her entire address book.

I don't think there is anything hugely sinister. and even if you did join myspace you dont have to be her friend.

There is an option on MySpace where you can invite everyone in your address book from your email address. She probably sent it unintentionally, I doubt shes trying to do anything nasty. If you join MySpace you can just deny her friend request.

The one thing I have learned about myspace is that I'm amazed at some of the personal stuff some people put on there. Some of us moms started looking on there and oh my.

I rarely use MySpace, but IIRC there is a search engine on there that lets you search for people by name/email/whatever. If it returns 0 results, I believe it gives you an option to ask that person to sign up. There is the possibility that she accidentally sent you the invite thinking she was entering your email as a way to look your name up.

You would wonder why someone that you don't necessarily have good ties with is looking for you. I had someone from my past that I *never* got along with and she tried to create problems for my family, etc....believe it or not, I recently received a friends request from her. Either looking for trouble or just trying to be nosy I guess.
