Do you use either of these? Have you ever gotten "in trouble" with it. For example, something you wanted to keep a secret ended up as news for evrybody to read. Why do you think it's such a craze. Personally, I think it's a major waste of time.

I have a facebook, which I like alot, but I'm not crazy about myspace. Too many weirdos.

No, and no. My mom won't allow me to have a myspace, and I personally don't blame her for setting up that rule.

Jaimie, I haven't really asked for permission for either, but I know that my parents would probably say no. I have absolutely no desire to spill out that much personal information on the internet, however "private" the website says it will be. And besides, I really don't want to deal with the whole "Did He/She read my friending request yet?" stuff.

I actually would like a facebook, just to have once in a while to keep in touch with friends. My mom's still juggling with if I should have one or not. But I don't have a myspace. And I don't want one :confused3

I know what you mean. Even though I say a lot on here, compared to Myspace, I think this place is safer. Plus, my mom's able to read any of my posts, so I'm pretty much limited on what I say.

I don't have either. I don't have a MySpace, cause, well, I just don't want one, haha. And all the MySpace *****s annoy me.

And Facebook, I dunno. Haven't really checked it out.

I have both.
I barely use them.
Myspace is for keeping up with bands/artists.
Facebook is a place to go to see what's up with some people I know...

I have both.
I use facebook a lot less than I use my myspace, but I haven't been using either as much as I used to lately.
I've never gotten in trouble with them. :confused3

I have a myspace.
I don't think it's 100% safe either but I have one just to talk to friends and check up on my favorite bands.

I honestly made one to read stuff the JonasBrothers wrote aha.

Most of my friends are just layout site's anyway.

I have myspace and I think its much better then facebook. I just dont post things about me that give away too much, where I live, where I go to school etc. I set my profile to exclusive so only my friends can view me.

I have a Bebo, but that's it. It's on private, so only my friends and people in my school network can view it.

My family and I agree. Too many wierdos and you know what else!

Put it on private.
Put it on private.
Put it on private.

You won't get messages/comments from strange creepy 60 year old men looking for sex if you put it on private.

I like MySpace, it's nice to give and receive comments from friends.

I have both.

I'm never on Facebook, though.

I have about 12 friends on my myspace and I keep it private. I only accept the friends I know. Not all my friends have a myspace so my list stays fairly short. I don't want to request friends just to have more.

I usually only use it as a means of communication between those friends and for music. Other than that, I rarely go on myspace and I still cannot understand what makes it so great rofl. How do people get addicted to it?! I'm on for 5 minutes and get bored. heh.

:rotfl:

I dont' have ethier. Myspace scares the crap out of me. My brother has one and there are really loony people on there:rolleyes:

I have both. And I like facebook SO much better.

I think the reason I like facebook so much is the college aspect of it, which is what facebook originally was used for. People create events that are happening around campus, and it keeps you involved.

And it's safe too, because only people in your network (ie school, regional area) can see your profile if you aren't friends, and you can choose what you want them to see if they aren't friends with you.

But yeah. I still have a myspace, but I think I've only been on it a few times within the past few weeks while facebook I check everyday.

Yes, that's why I don't have one.

I don't understand how people can get addicted :confused3

Most people get addicted because they are interested to see if they have friend requests, comments, messages, picture comments, etc.

They comment others, message others etc. and so they keep checking back to see.

It's a very easy thing to get addicted to MySpace. It's a hard habit to break though :/
