I have a trip coming up in July. We intend to purchase an annual pass. I am trying to figure out the ins and outs of how to be practical regarding cost, but also get the benefit of pre-booking FastPass+. Here are the ideas I have come up with - which is the best for saving money but also getting the advantage of pre-booking Fastpass?
1) We have 2 day passes from a previous package that we had planned to apply towards the cost of the annual pass. However, I can only do that in-person - correct? There is no way to apply the pass value to an annual pass from here in Washington, right?
2) Assuming I can't do #1, if I buy the annual pass now, does it go in My Disney Experience, allowing me to book fastpasses even though it hasn't been activated?
3) Assuming I can't do #1 or #2, would the next best idea be to buy a 10 day MYW pass, book my fastpasses, and then convert it to an annual pass when I arrive at the park?
4) Are there any other options I haven't yet explored?
THANK YOU for helping with this complicated question!!!
