I need one more $25 RFC gift card for our trip and when I went to redeem my points, the Rainforest Cafe option is GONE I know that sometimes a redemption option disappears while they "update" it, but does anyone know if it is coming back? I don't need the card until January so hopefully they will put it back!

omg that sucks i've been saving and waitimg to cash out till it got closer to our trip in december

I just cashed out for one and received it last week. I have been waiting for my pending points to credit so I could cash out for a second and have a meal covered on our July trip....this new does not make me happy!!!

I also have a purchase pending until June 2nd and then was cashing out for Rainforest. NOT HAPPY either!!!

I just sent off an inquiry to Mypoints about this. Maybe if we all ask about this at the same time they will get the hint and bring it back.

i'll send an email to them now too...that was the only thing that I wanted to cash out for. It takes me sooooo long to accumulate points there that it will really be really irritating if I can't get that now.

That really stinks! I was going to cash out for 2 the other day but I was going to wait and cash out for 4 on the 21st as I have 6,500 points clearing my account then

Oh well, I guess I will just have to wait and see or else I will cash out for $100 in gap gc's to get the kids some school clothes. At least those are stil significantly cheaper than the Rainforest ones!

I hope they don't raise the point totals when they come back! I'm sure everyone will get the standard merchants go away from time to time email from them. They aren't really helpful at all. I really hope they bring webbies back. Its horrible when you are so close to cashing out and then they pull the gift card.

Looks like Target is what I will cash out for now... but I definitely won't be doing anymore than 5 point clicks at mypoints since they don't have anything I truly want to cash out for..

I have to think that they will bring these back. Maybe they are just having a squabble with Landry's? I know that they dropped DisneyShopping for a little bit when (I don't think coincidentally) Disney was a few months behind on paying its affiliate bills. At the same time that I saw Disney get caught up on its payments, it magically reappeared back on Mypoints.

Mypoints has a LOT of power in ecommerce. Maybe they are just leaning on Landry's for a better deal on the Rainforest cards?

I should have posted on this thread instead of creating another one a little while ago.

They are still there - just not under "Restaurants". Look under "All Merchants" and you'll find them, I just cashed out for 2 about 10 minutes ago.

I saw that they were back this morning. Did they raise the number of points needed to get one though? I thought we could cash out at 3250 before for a $25 RFC gift card and now I think it's 3500. It's been awhile since I got one so I can't remember what the point total was before. Either way, I'm glad they're back on My Points!

It has been 3,500 points for quite awhile now. I was really working towards getting RFC gc's but since I can get a $50 Gap gc for 6,250, I think I am going to cash out for those and use them to buy the kid ssome school clothes!

Before I saw that the RFC cards came back, I e-mailed MyPoints member services. They responded today with the following:

"We sincerely appreciate your interest in the Redeem Points portion of the
MyPoints Program. Due to high demand, Rain forest gift cards gift cards are
currently available for redemption on the MyPoints Redeem Page."

I guess enough of us Dis'ers complained so they brought them back
