Now that webbies are gone...what are you redeeming for your Disney vacation? I have 12,000 points...so disappointed I usually get disney dollars, now I can't.

The only thing I can see is the Rainforest Cafe GC. I am holding off on getting that though, b/c we might get the DDP again. Aside from that, I don't see anything that could be put towards our vacations. Anyone else?

I didn't see much either, unless you are driving. We drive down, so I redeem for crackerbarrel and gas cards.

How about target or walmart? You could buy things for your trip? Or use them for everyday stuff and then put the cash that you would have spent toward your trip?

Hi -
I didn't see much either, so I was thinking about getting a Circuit City gift card to buy more media cards for my digital camera and DVD's for my camcorder for our trip. The Rainforest g.c. is the only other thing we found, too, since we're not driving.

Oh, just thought of one more. I think I saw CVS gift cards there the last time I checked. You could use them to develop photos after your trip?

We cashed out for Hyatt gift certificates and used them towards a day room at MCO after our cruise (we had a late flight home).

I just cashed out for 2 RFC gift cards for our June trip. Now I'm saving for Marriott Checque to use for a weekend in Chicago. After that, I think I'll just save for gas cards and put cash in my vacation savings since I'd be buying gas anyway. Or as other posters said, Walmart or Walgreens or something.

That's how my daughter see it. I, on the other hand, get more satisfaction for my time and efforts with the more direct route.

When it began to look like the the webbies were gone for good, I thought I'd defect to SR. I went back to shopping MyPoints, however, b/c I have never had any problems getting credit from them.

I've been cashing out for bloomingdales gc's since I have some expensive tastes when it comes to clothing and I can order stuff online. I also think bloomingdales gc's are one of those gc's over there where you get more $ for your points. If I wasn't cashing out for bloomies it would be either Macy's (my local one has high end stuff as well just not as much), Target or Walmart. I hate how high the points value for Target and Walmart are so high compared to other places.

I have been doing Mypoints less and less since the disappearance of webbies. The only reason I use them is sometimes they have sites I shop with that other programs don't but I have been sending the stores I shop with more and more to other websites in hopes that they might be able to add them one day.

I'm still holding on to hope that webbies will be back! We have a while to go before our next trip so I'm holding off redeeming as long as I can. I would hate to cash out for something and then the next week see webbies back.

Me too. Our trip isn't until December and I've got almost 25,000 points so I'm just letting them sit there and slowly accumulate (I almost only do the email clicks)..I thought I'd probably cash out in October. If they don't come back, I'm thinking of Rainforest or Wal-Mart/Target too.

I cash out for the RFC - was wondering though do the gift cards expire? My trip isn't till later in the year but I thought about going ahead and getting the cards now to avoid any price increases on the point levels.

We drive so after RFC I get Marriotts and gas cards.

You might not want to wait too long to cash out. Compare Rewards just published a blog article the other day about how it is now taking more points to get each gift card than it did before. I don't see RFC listed as one that is more yet. But there are quite a few others.

You're right about their increases Tricia. That is why I'm being extra careful with what I"m cashing out for and trying to get the best deal possible. I hate how much Target and Walmart gc's cost over there.

Anyways as I shop online and notice where I"m shopping from most often I'll be sending emails to you and a few other sites to see if you can add them and slowly get away from mypoints.

I had planned on getting gas cards for our drive, but now it looks like we will be driving so I have no idea what to use them for. I was specifically saving the points for our disney trip, so I guess I will end up getting a walmart card to buy stuff we need for the trip.

Great article. I clicked through to another one that told you the best value rewards to cash out for...Going to spend more time looking over it later this weekend and may go ahead and cash out "wisely."

Ok thinking I will cash out but does anyone know if the RFC gcs expire?

Liz

Can we do that?

Chances are pretty good that at least Dmitry and I can add them (and probably CR as well). Some of the really big ones are a little harder to get. But if Mypoints has them, we can at least make a strong argument to the merchant that they should allow us as well. That's how I got Lands' End last week.

i am waiting till about 2 months before our trip to cash out for rfc gift certificates. ( my dh loves this resturant):goodvibes
