MyPoints Webcertificate and other rewards ??

I heard you can convert this to a plastic card do you can buy things with it instead of only shopping online. Is there a fee associated with doing this? If so how much?

To get some new clothes I was thinking of doing this. Usually I'd get my stuff at Old Navy but for some reason the Old Navy gift cards cost 6000 for a $50 one or 3250 for a $25 one. This point cost is higher than the Gap, Web Certificates, Macy's, etc. The Gap hardly has stuff I want that is inexpensive and most of the stuff is similar at Old Navy and costs less. Macy's is about 30 minutes drive and not convient for me to get to. I could go to Target but again picky about the stuff... I guess all I really need is maybe an extra pair of shorts and some tank tops though.

Also I have some Amex rewards as well but their gift card selection is slimmer - Gap, Banana are pretty much only clothing stores... Also have Linens and Things, Home Depot, etc... I guess I'll get Gap one from there.

A Webcertificate plastic card costs $6.95 to purchase. The funds are withdrawn from your Webcertificate account. It is good for 2 years. To order, you can call customer service at 1-800-511-1781 and give them your account number.

The card works pretty much like a debit card and is accepted just about anywhere that Mastercard is taken. One place that it will not work is thru PayPal. Make sure that you aquaint yourself with all of Webcertificates dormancy fees and over-limit fees before getting one.

I'm on my 3rd webbie card...I've had one since I began doing rewards programs several years ago. I like as a way to combine all my little rewards program rewards into one big reward. I've got almost $250 for next week's trip saved up on my card.

I seen on my points you can get one, but its only for $25, how can you combine them into a bigger amount of $?

Webcertificates are sent thru email. The email provides you with a claim code for your award. When you claim your first Webcertificate, you create an account using your email address. All subsequent Webcertificates can then be claimed into that same account by using your email address and the password that you created when you set up the account. Since many rewards programs offer Webcertificates (MyPoints, CreationsRewards, ClicktotheMagic, LuckyPoints, and PCHPoints ...to name a few), you can enter them all into one account and combine them for greater purchasing power!

I don't think I want to get a $25 one and pay $6.95 to convert it. I know it's better if I used it for online only but I hate to buy clothes online because they never fit. I used to do that and spent more return shipping or ended up at the store to return it anyways when I could have just gone in the first place.

I think if I am not sure what to buy I'll get some for gifts for people's b-days or sell some on ebay and take that cash and buy what I want
