mypoints & RFC

A couple of years ago I cashed out for a bunch of RFC GC at mypoints. When they arrived they were Landry's GC's. Does anyone know if this is still the case? I want to order them to use at Yak & Yeti. TIA

Yak & Yeti is a Landry restaurant? I had no idea.

The last time I got one it was a Landry's. That was about 6 months ago I think.

Yes its owned by Landry. I may take a chance & order 1 anyway. Vacation isn't until April so I have time to order more.

I ordered one a month or so ago and when it came, it said Rainforest on the front and had a pic of the frog. But when I flipped it over and read the back, it said "Good at any Landry's." All the ones I've ever gotten have been like that.

You won't be able to use them at Yak and Yetti. It is considered a "Disney" Restaurant, just like those in Epcot.

I don't know. You can use the mypoints GC's at the Rainforest in Animal Kingdom (done it), so I don't know why Yak would be any different, since it is operated by Landrys.

You don;t need park admission to get into the Rain Forest Cafe at AK, but you will be inside the park at Yak & Yeti. Even tho they are run by Landry, it isn't the same. Like the restaurants inside Epcot are managed by other operators, but they are "Disney".
