My wonderful grandfather died this evening

Oh how sad for you Deb

How lovely that he lived such a great life and you will always have such fond memories of both him and your Gran. I still miss my Grandad, he died at 90 yrs old in 1985, but my memories are still as clear now as they were then.

Please remember people are only really gone when they are forgotten to be remembered...... the bittersweet memories you have now will keep both grandparents alive for you, talk to them, recall happy times and cry too!!!! They will never leave you...honestly.

My mum passed over 15 years ago and I follow this myself and it really does feel like she has not left me just because I cannot physically see her.
