My wedding was perfect!

Hey all ! I can't tell you how perfect my wedding was! There were some hiccups, but they all worked out for the better.

For example, my IPod with the reception music went missing, and Maxine, who is the most incredible planner in the world, got us a Disney DJ at literally the LAST minute.

The amazing thing about this story was, that my mom and I were at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party the Friday night before the wedding and we were at the Tomorrowland dance party. I said, 'Mom, if I COULD have a DJ he'd be the one I'd want'. I love the cheesy things DJ's do, like the Maceranea and things like that, but ... I had my IPod and that was that.

Until a family member decided to put the IPod in an undisclosed location, thinking they were helping to keep it from getting stolen. We didn't later find it until AFTER the wedding.

SOOOO ... guess who the DJ was that Maxine got for me for the wedding, since my music was missing ? The Tomorrowland DJ !! I couldn't believe it when we walked into the little waiting room before the wedding and I saw him standing there. It was so awesome. Our family had the best time and did all the cheesy things I'd hoped we would do. My fiance and I even got a picture with him the next night in his Tomorrowland garb while he was DJing.

It was an amazing time. If I can figure out how to pist pics I will. Sea Breeze Point and The Attic were beautiful ... Maxine did an incredible job ... I wish I could relive that day over and over and over again !!

I'll post a little more later with pics if I can figure it out if that'll help with your own wedding planning. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had.

The sand from the sand ceremony even made it home without spilling !! LOL.

And people even cried (including his Aunt Kathy) when the characters came out ! We played Disney's Mambo #5 when the characters came out and all the elderly folks got up and did the Hokey Pokey; we're sooo cheesy like that. We were laughing so hard because I don't think any of us had done the Hokey Pokey since we were in Kindergarten. It was just so amazingly fun ... it was an actual day from Heaven here on Earth.


And brides ... make sure you really eat something ! I got the shakes right before the ceremony and one of the coordinators got me a banana(sp?lol) and Apple Juice before the ceremony.

It was just soooo incredible ... and Stan the videographer with Randy Chapman, and Randy were amazing ... I wish I could relive it every day!! It was that good.

I had Maxine, too! Isn't she a true fairy godmother for the last minute miracles she can pull off?! When we couldn't get a hold of my photographer and weren't sure she was going to be there, Maxine had a Disney photographer there in no time flat. (My photographer DID arrive, at the appointed time, but in the week leading up to the day NO ONE could contact her!)
