Hi Guys,

I've just booked our Walt Disney World wedding at Sunset Pointe at the Polynesian for August 20th.

My question do you have any suggestions to make this magical event even more magical!!

Thanks,
Andy

How many people are coming to see you get wed ?
Who did you book through - direct with Disney or through Viring or someone ?
Have you thought about where you may eat afterwards - what time is the wedding?

Sorry to have come back to you with questions but it helps to know these things before I can make suggestions LOL because between us I bet we have plenty :teeth:

Congratulations by the way on your forthcoming wedding :)

Finally, another august ceremony, and just 2 days after our Vow Rewnewal.
Sunset point is really nice, we love watching the fireworks from there.

Congratulations!

Hi Sam,

Thanks for the reply.

Our wedding will take place at 11.00am on the 20th. We booked it directly through Disney since we are DVC members and will be staying at the VWL for 10 days and then 4 days at Vero Beach. We will only be having about 6 guests at the wedding. We're not sure where to hold the reception. We've been thinking about Victoria and Albert's at the GF or Ohana's.

We also wanted to do a Illuminations Cruise in the evening. Do you know if we can arrange for food and drink onboard?

Thanks,
Andy

Andy for 6 of you you could hire out the Grand One and I'm pretty sure they would be able to accommodate a meal for you all. V&A is awesom for sure and would make the day very special obviously 'Ohanas and V&A are worlds apart in terms of food and ambience so you'd have to decide what you want from your day.

Let me know if you'd like more details on the Grand One.

I would like more info Sam. I am not having a wedding, but am looking for something special for an anniversary dinner.

Hi Sam,

Thanks for the offer. Can you send the details to us both!!

Thanks,
Andy

Hi Andy,

We are looking at Sunset Pointe for our wedding in December 2006 as well. We've decided on O'hana's for our reception. We think the Polynesian theme fits well with the beach type setting of the wedding. We're even going to pick up leis in our wedding colours for everyone to wear to dinner!
