Stephen called last night from Jaurez, Mexico. They will be home tonight!!!! They are done building, but usually pack up today and drive to Albuquerque, spend the night, then come home Friday. They had a horrendous wind storm that knocked all their tents down and toppled their showers, outhouses, and grills. Instead of taking the evening and putting it all back up, just to turn around in the morning and tear it all down again, they decided to just pack it all up and come home. They drove to Albuquerque last night, will sleep late and come home this afternoon. They'll be home by 8 or so tonight. I am excited, but my house is a disaster. I have been so busy with my "project" (which looks very good, if I do say so myself) that nothing else is done. No dishes, no laundry, no general cleaning. And, on top of that, I started dunging out the study and all that stuff is strewn about the dining room. I have a lot of work to do this afternoon.

Just wanted to share my news. You don't have to hear my complaining anymore about being alone. The saga is over!!

I am happy for you! No more strange sounds in the night...until Stephen goes out of town again.

Better call Merry Maids :)

It's horrible when your husband's out of town, but it's so wonderful when they come home!! :)

I love it when they come home. Of course, I'll be so exhausted from the frantic cleaning I'll be doing, that I will not be able to enjoy it. ;)

Kelli,

Glad to hear it! Just one question -- what in the world is "dunging"?????

dunging out: originally regarding cleaning horse stalls. Shoveling out the refuse of animals (dung). Used in this case to suggest cleaning out excess junk. I can't believe you've never heard of this. Guess it's a country thing, lol.

Thanks, Kelli for the explanation. I was afraid it might have something to do with "dung", but was afraid to ask that - lol:eek:

I really never did hear of that expression, but that's what comes of being a DISer -- ya learn all kinds of new stuff! ;)
