My V&A review! 10 Year Anniversary Dinner!

Thanks for the review!!! DH is not only a picky eater, but tight with the wallet too, so I will vicariously live through everyone else going to V&A until I win the lottery and then go by myself (unless someone else wants to accompany me there -- DH will be happy with Pizza Hut instead!)

Great review, thanks for posting. I'd love to go back to V & A and I love reading everyone's reviews. I always pick which courses I would have gotten if I was there that night, LOL. :)

Are you treating? Cuz if so...I am THERE!

swanky-that's what I have done all these years! have you ever been? I hope you get there soon.:goodvibes

Whoa...what a great place to get engaged at! Well, I think that insures that you will be going back for at least a few anniversaries!

I'm glad it turned out so well for you. I remember how excited you sounded about going. :goodvibes

It is too much wine for me too but I've solved this by giving some to my husband. I don't care for port or any dessert wine so I'm pretty much done by then.

Is it next year's anniversary that you are planning?

Yes, BCV, you have been seeing me post over and over with every tiny thought and question and comment about V&A's for the past 180 days! I was soooo worked up about this meal. I love the DIS because I would bring it up to people in real life and they would say, "Oh, there is a fancy restaurant at the GF?" I am amazed at how many people don't even know about it.

Yes, I thought about "sharing" the wine pairings, but decided that it would be tacky to actual sip from the same glass throughout the meal! But I could see where you might want the pass the last few glasses to your hubby. That is not a bad idea.

Ohhh, I *wish* I was planning a meal there for my next anniversary! No, it will probably have to wait a few years. We are gearing up for PftS on Sept 29, though!
