I'm very sorry, but this will a brag-post :teeth: because I have different Disney plans in the near future!

On Saturday, I am going to Disney on Ice in Antwerp. I have absolutely no clue which show it is, but I don't care because they all feature Mickey and Minnie. We were very lucky when we ordered the tickets. There were not too many seats left, and all were seats with bad views and on weird dates (in the evening during the week, no way can I get on time in Antwerp without taking the afternoon off!) It was my mom who had called to make the reservations, so she first wanted to consult me. When she called back to actually book them, two great seats had come up available again, because the people didn't pay on time for them, woohoo!

Then, the last weekend of March, we are going to DLP one more time before our AP expires. Of course we intend to buy a new one the next time we'll go, but the expiration is a good reason to pinch in three more days now ;) We'll be staying off site again at a B&B (still have to make reservations), and there is definitely one that we will avoid! :scared:
We'll probably eat at Cape Cod and maybe the buffet at Sequoia Lodge.

And then, in less than a month time, starting April 3, I can start to stuff as many (hidden) Mickeys in the new appartment as possible!!!!!!!! Less than a month to go, I am so excited!

awww wow :) you're so lucky to be getting your own place, I'm about to move out of my place I share with my 2 friends back to mum and dad's...i get on with them really well though, but a very big change...

Great time to go to dlp at end of march, the park hours look to be really good then...2 days til we go, i soooo need it!!!

Thank you, I am sure it will be a lot of fun.
There is just one thing I forgot to add: We will only go to DLP if the weather forecast is reasonably good. No one of us wants to walk around in heavy rain for 3 days :)

I am very excited about getting my own place. I lived one year by myself while studying, but after that moved back in with my parents. While we get along pretty well, it's time to move out.The thing I look most forward to is to be able to invite friends for dinner parties as much as I want :)
Oh, and the fact I'll be able to sleep on, the couch if I'm too lazy to get up and go to my bed and drink as much as I want without being called an alcoholic

WOW!!! Very exciting for you!!! Enjoy your 'freedom':rotfl2: I know what you mean about living with your prents. I spent a year in London away from my parents (I'm Macedonian) and found it really hard when I went back home. I get on with them but still... And now, I'm married and live in London and miss my mum and dad... You can never win!

Enjoy planning your next Disney trip - we're going back in April and hope the weather is good for us... Don't mind the cold but hate the rain:umbrella:

Wow!!
You will have to let us know what the Disney on Ice is like :goodvibes i really would love to go to one of them but never been quite sure what they would be like.

Sounds like you have a action packed time ahead of you :goodvibes

We went to see Mickey and Minnie on Ice in London 3 years ago. It was fantastic!!! My DD1 loved every minute of it, she was speechless when they danced on the ice and loved when the Little Mermaid and the Dalmatians came. You'll have a great time!!!:yay:

great news, sounds exciting moving in to your own place. Hope it all goes well.

How exciting for you, I hope the move goes smoothly & that you have a great show & trip:thumbsup2

Thank you all.

My new appartment will be a whopping THREE streets away from my parents  I wanted to go live a little further away, but since I haven't won Euromillions yet, I was quite glad to find such a nice appartment for that price (and it was already more than expensive enough :scared: )

I have been to the last 5 or 6 Disney On Ice shows. They were always great! The only one I didn't like too much was the Jungle-one, but that's more because I don't really like Jungle Book, we had seen the Lion King musical just before and weren't too impressed with the On Ice costumes (which isn't fair, nothing should be compared to the musical, it's out-of-range-great). The skating is always amazing though!
Last year it was the Princess one, we have had one about Mickey and Minnie on a tropical vacation one, 100 years of Disney Magic, etc etc etc.

Planning for DLP is simple: I assume my mom will call the B&B to make reservations for the room and on day of departure we'll jump in the car. That's about it for the planning :) No action plan about what rides to do, no advance dining reservations (I only do that for WDW and Blue Bayou at DL), ... I might have a shopping list though :teeth:
OK, I will do some preparation, I will have to see how many difficult picture questions for a quiz I already have, so that I know how many tiny little details I have to take pictures from ;)
