My Universal Vacation Video came today!!

i called universal representative few days ago, she said they didn't send out the universal videos, i am dying for one, how did you get yours?

going mid october, staying at HRH, cant wait!!! thanks for any information.

I suggest that you fill out both of them, because that's what I did. I did this a couple of weeks ago.

I just got mine too! It was great, it really got me psyched for my first trip in 3 DAYS! Actually, I got two and I have no idea how I got either. I don't remember filling out anything. I thought that Universal sent them out to everyone staying on-site a few days before the trip. We will be at the Hard Rock for one night, then 4 nights at the Royal Pacific. (That's why I thought I got two.)

They didn't send it to me because I'm staying on-site. I am staying 3 nights at the PBH and 3 nights at the HRH, but my hotel reservations are in my name. When I filled out the 2 forms for the video, I used my husband's name. The video came addressed to him.

Thank you for posting these links. Unfortunately, the second one is from a website in the United Kingdom, so it's probably not the best for a North American tourist.

You see, today, I got the video... and it didn't work properly in either of our two VCRs. Couldn't figure out why the picture was so oddly scrambled and the speakers' voices sounded a little like "The Chipmunks." Sure enough, the accompanying brochure lists package pricing in pounds, not dollars. So the difference between (USA vs. UK) VCR speeds must account for the scrambled, rapid display.

Our whole family did something we rarely do - we set up supper in front of the TV just to see this video... disappointing! Sure hope the other website offer yields a video we can see!

I got mine too and it was in PAL format. I was wondering why I got Virgin airline inserts.

Yea I got my video, too. But like some of the threads, it was NOT viewable on my VCR, sounded like the chipmunks!! Any tips on making this work, or maybe i just have to wait for another one to come from the other form I filled out?

If you got a video with Virgin airlines brochures in it, you got a video in PAL format. The picture will have a bunch of white lines on it and people will sound like chipmunks. Unfortunately, TVs in North America are set to the NTSC standard and both formats are not compatible.

There are places that can convert it for you...but your free video wouldn't be so *free* any longer!
