My Universal Photos pass question

I was pricing our trip and saw that the photo pass at universal is $69 but when I go add it to my cart it automatically comes out to 6 passes (there are six of us going). My question is then : Do I need to purchase a photo pass per person or can I just buy one (or maybe two in case dh and I separate for rides) and that will cover it? My kids are still young, they won’t be separating from my dh and I to go on rides on their own. I guess I’m confused because we’ve only ever bought the photo pass at DW and that one is automatically synced to all members under the same account, I guess I figured it was the same with Universal

You just need one photo pass. It covers the family. It is a card with a barcode they scan at the rides or automatic photo spots, or get before shooting in the case of roaming photographers.

I haven't done this, but am given to understand you can also use 2 photo cards and merge them at the end of the day. May want to confirm that though.

The last time we did it, we got 2 cards for the one account. We had part of the group that liked the wild rides and part that like the tamer rides so each group took a card.

You only need one package for your party.

I didn't know that was an option. Will have to remember it for our next trip, although, the last time the two cards worked out good.
