and I am on my own all week as dbf is away, so I don't even have anyone to talk to. I know it sounds sad but its so depressing. :sad2: I hate been on my own all week and now I can not watch disney dvds with my dd which is what we had planned to do.

Poor you ~ I hate it when DF is away during the week :grouphug:

I know it is not the same, but could you watch your dvds via your computer?

What a shame
Are there any family nearby you can visit? or what about getting some Disney storybooks from the library and cuddling up with them instead.

Blimey :sad2:

I, myself wouldn't miss the tv for a week whilst DH was away but DD would be going nuts - and driving me there alongside her  :rotfl:

Sounds like plenty of time to spend on the DIS boards, Disney DVDs via the computer and loads of online kiddie games to keep DD occupied (although she could be 18, for all I know........... :rolleyes1 ) Actually, forget that idea as I've just noticed your Ticker timer :sunny:

Lots of lovely Disney story books for DD, good books for you and early bed times it is then ;)

:grouphug:

shes 4..to be honest shes not botherd yet as she can occuipe her self with her toys however that my change when she realise that she can not watch nick jnr in the morning.

any other week it would not bother me as I am usually busy with uni work and have reading to do however I have now finished uni for this week and I am having trouble adjusting to not having much to do.

DD (7) reliably informs me that there is a 'Lazy Town' type programme on TV, in Orlando, called 'DoodleBobs' with orange, blue and pink people.................. :rolleyes1

Yes we have just watched that this morning - Lazytown seems to have taken a back seat at the moment. Mickey Mouse Club House is DD's fav at the moment - it's only on Sat/Sun so she asks me every day if it's the weekend!

Glad the tv is OK!

My DD won't watch Playhouse Disney, she loves Nick Jnr and Dora is her favourite. when we are in the car she pretends that her fingers are the characters from lazy town. she can spend a whole hour playing with her fingers and its funny to listen to her.
