My Tusker House Review

I know a lot of people wonder whether Tusker house is worth it but let me tell you WOW! We did lunch with Donald & friends. I was so hesitant upon eating here due to mixed reviews. I almost canceled but decided to just try it. Boy am I glad I did, there was such a LONG VARIETY of food! It's almost impossible to go here & not enjoy "something"... Everything I put on my plate was delicious, my hubby felt the same, & even my picky little one loved it. My older 2 chowed, it was was great!
If your visiting AK Park, & you don't mind the character dining? Hit this place up for sure. Upon entering you do get to take a pic with Donald outside so have your camera ready unless you want to pay for the photos they do for ya. Inside, Mickey, Minnie & Goofy, all made their way to our table. My kids loved this place.

A must do from now on!

I have an ADR for our Nov trip here an was wondering if I should keep it or not so its nice to hear a good review! Is it typical for Minnie to be here?? My DD loves Minnie and I can't get a CM reservation so it would be awesome if she is here!

We haven't done it for lunch, but we loved breakfast there so much that on our last trip we decided to go a second time. Far and away the best breakfast buffet on property.

Minnie isn't at tusker house but she is at the breakfast at cape may cafe at the beach club

Do you by any chance have magic bands? You can fastpass Mickey & Friends Meet & greet at Epcot, in which Minnie is always there too

They must switch it up because in addition to your picture with Donald at the beginning, inside it was Mickey, Goofy and Daisy when we were there two weeks ago.

OP, great to hear you enjoyed your meal at Tusker House! I've switched my ADR from Boma breakfast over Tusker House late breakfast / early lunch (the ADR is for 10:45am, 11am which is switchover time). I've since been about doing that switch but I've seen so many great reviews here for Tusker House that I am really more now than about making the switch (never been, so it will be a first).

I'm just curious - how long did your lunch last? Did you have to wait long before getting in?

We love Tusker House but have never done lunch, always breakfast. DH wants to try lunch when we go next time!

We did breakfast there once and it was probably the best character meal we have ever had. I'm planning it for our next trip.

Tusker House is a tradition for us. We always go there, most always on our first day.

I always do a 10:55AM ressie. We get breakfast and lunch for the price of breakfast We love both!

Tusker House is one of our favourite character meals. Usually it's Daisy and not Minnie but sometimes Daisy is busy keeping an eye on Donalds nephews so Minnie comes to visit No character are guaranteed but Daisy is considered one of the regulars, along with Mickey, Goofy and Donald.

we have done breakfast a few times and lunch once. we did not care for lunch. this time we are bringing our DD2 for a late breakfast at 10:40, so hopefully we can fill up quick on breakfast and then sample the lunch too. glad to hear you enjoyed it
I love the characters in their safari gear. One time a fork got dropped somehow in Goofy's boot and it was so hilarious watching the CM and Goofy trying to get it out.

Our family loves Tusker House. We did a character breakfast on our first trip in 2007 and our 2 DD loved it. The CM's were fantastic and doted on our girls.

On our last trip in 2010 we went with friends and ended up going twice for lunch we enjoyed it so much. The second time we just did a walk up and got in no problem.

I especially love the fruit punch drink, so refreshing on a hot and humid Florida day.

Any way we again have an ADR for our next trip in December.
