My turn for stroller advice

My issue is~ I have 3 kids, two will need a stroller, no questions asked.
One is 3 y/o & the other is 6 & has had open heart surgery & no endurance, only weighs 37# & I do everything to get to gain weight, so 'forcing' him to walk & burn off everything that he put in his mouth is not an option).
The problem is the 3rd, who is a twin of my heart kid. "Why do they get to ride & I don't??" Matt is the same age as me.
Explaining surgery is also not an option as she has had brain surgery, & knows it

It definitely keeps me sane to have a seat for all, since I seem to have very little patience these days, then add crowds & heat into the equation. Not a good mix.

Stroller problem~ last 3 years, I have brought my Graco DuoGlider, & an umbrella stroller.
Not sure if I should do the same combo again this year, OR
bring my sit & stand instead......where no one can nap, but is easier to get in/out of the back......& has no shade coverage.

Basically, none of them nap. Only the 3y/o will still if she is tired enough, but can nap in the umbrella stroller (or the back seat of the Graco if that is brought)

advice suggestions........scenarios I haven't thought of are all welcome

I bought a sit n stand for my 3 & 5 yos. It worked great. Granted it was December/January so the shade wasn't an issue. Both of the snoozed a day or two (DS leaned over the sunshade all the way back and rested his head on his arm on the side). It really did work well. We took off the front foot rest and tray table for easier in and out. Folding it and carrying it on the busses was no problem either.

I don't know if you're in the market for a new stroller, but you might want to look into the Joovy Big Caboose-- the triple sit n stand. Two seats and the bench for a third child.

Read reviews-- many say it's difficult to push/steer.

Or perhaps join a double stroller swap. That way you only have to bring a single stroller down with you and then you have the double to use when you arrive.

Can you bring your sit and stand and also bring an umbrella stroller? That way they all have a place to sit when needed? I totally understand the "why does he/she get to ride and I don't" because my kids do it and they aren't even the same ages. I can only imagine that it would be even worse with twins and who wants to listen to that all day! Plus, it is a lot of walking, even for a 6 year old.

Of course, another option is bringing one stroller and renting for your other kids, but that can get pricey.

I'd think that you will likely need to bring both a double stroller and an umbrella stroller, even if you don't need *all* those seats, *all* the time. Either bring your own or rent, either from Disney or third party provider like Orlando Stroller Rentals.

I just wanted to mention, you may want to swing on by the DisAbilities forum to get some info about getting a GAC for the heart-surgery child. Sounds like he might benefit from you getting permission to use a stroller as wheelchair for him. It would allow you to take his stroller into lines & other places where strollers are generallly forbidden, like the pavillions at Epcot.

Have a great trip!
