Hey guys! So, I just came back from an incredible trip to WDW for my sweet sixteen. It was from 10/4-10/9, with MNSSHP on the 5th. I have a mini trip report for you, with some pics. So here goes:
We (my mom and I) got to the Beach Club on Thursday night, after taking Magical Express (don't totally recommend it...we didn't get our luggage till the next day! But it does make the trip there more special). The next morning we went to Epcot, which was great. It was just so amazing to walk through those turnstiles, and get on your first ride of the trip. I really missed Disney! Anyways, that night was MNSSHP at MK. Wow. We had never done that before, and I would certainly consider doing it again. The parade was awesome, the candy...well, I guess. I wasn't really there for the candy like some other people were. I'm like, "Okay, hold your horses, it's a stinkin' tootsie pop, lady!" So the whole party was really fun. My mom and I have the entire parade on video. Maybe I'll upload it to something eventually. Oh yeah, so I was supposed to be Sleeping Beauty, but it rained like crazy for a while. So I will be a loser and say it...we wimped out on the costumes. Sure enough the rain died down, but barely. I mean, it was still fun, but I wouldn't have had as much fun in a huge dress. So I still wore my tiara that I got for my birthday. It's purty.
I guess I didn't realize how long that part would be, so I'll cut the rest a bit short. On Saturday we went to Epcot again in the morning (thanks to Tour Guide Mike, he helps a ton!), and then MGM at night, where I rode Rockin' Roller Coaster for the first time ever! It was everything I thought it would be and more. I loved it, especially the 0-60 part. And Tower of Terror is like, officially my new favorite ride. I didn't completely like it at first, it would still get me freaked out when I was on line for it, but I got over that on this trip. I rode it about 10 times, one time there were only 4 people on the whole ride! It was insane.
On Sunday we went to Animal Kingdom in the morning. We only did three rides (Kali, Dinosaur, and EE), because AK wasn't a big one on our to-do list, but I still had fun. Okay, so this was also my first time on EE. Oh. My God. What a ride! It was so fast and spooky and amazing all at the same time. I rode it three times. That night was MGM again, so nothing new to report there.
Monday was all Magic Kingdom in the AM. So great. I did Splash Mountain a bunch of times. But I have a funny story for you. I am officially a Disney bad girl
You know when it says "Your photo was washed away"? Well, it happened to my log. I was thinking who could have caused it, and then I realized...it was me! I did one of those "rock out loud" poses (which is somewhat like the pic of me you'll see later), and I must have done it too low down so they only saw two certain fingers! My mom was laughing at me for hours. I had no idea! So I guess I should expect the Disney FBI to come after me or something. Sunday night was Epcot. Very fun, I did Mission Space Green Team for the first time (no way is anyone ever getting me on Orange Team!)
And Tuesday was our last day, with Magic Kingdom the whole time. I rode in the front on Space Mountain twice. MK on our last day was a great way to end the trip.
So now we're back, obviously, and my birthday was on Wednesday. I'm 16!! I can't believe it, honestly. I have to do some last minute studying, but I'll probably take my permit test soon. Can't wait! ), and my mom was sweet enough to surprise me with a brown velor jumpsuit with a tiara on the front pocket, and another on the pants. It looks like what would happen if Juicy got Disney-fied! So thanks for the comments guys. And I really love that Jack Sparrow pic too!
