G'day folks.

firstly the cast.
Me, 37yrs old and a total d!ck accordinging to the wife...
The Dragon, i mean my darling wife, 32yrs old and a pain in the backside.
my son, 5yrs old and as mad as a hatter
my daughter, 1 7/8 yrs old and heading the same way as my son.

We left Wales (which is a country adjoining England, but not actually part of England) one day in june and headed off to the exotic tropical climate of Kent,England. We travelled down by motor vehicle the day before we departed for disney via choo-choo train. We stayed in the Holiday Inn Central in Ashford where we booked the Eurostar package so we could park up my Ford Capri for the 5 days there whilst we messed about in disney. We had a lovely meal that evening, cant remember what we had but it was lovely see butt innit mun. We then went to bed at 9.47pm and slept all night until the morning, ooohhh lovely. We then had some breakfast which was nice, but we didnt like the sausages, english sausages taste funny dont they. Why is that?
We then had 2 taxis (coz we cant get 9 people in one taxi see,coz they is too small) and had a lift to the choo-choo station. We showed our passport photos to the nice man and then sat down by the disney express check in too make sure we was first in the queue for the free bags of goodies init. I pretended i had 12 kids so the nice man gave me 12 bags (8 of which are now on e-bay with a buy it now of £9.99 if your interested?)

So there we have day 1 of our day trip to disney. i shall continue our epic journey tomollow coz im tired now coz its like nearly 12pm and ive got work in the morning see bach.

i shall upload some photos as i go along as well coz i knows what you women are like for photos. you like a good photo dont you ladies? you like a good nose dont you.

To be continued........................................

So, as i was saying, what was i saying exactly? where was i?

oh yes, the eurostar. we boarded the train and went straight to the buffet car for some hearty food. needless to say we were left disapointed. i bought 2 packs of shortbread biscuits and a can of coke which cost me £6!!! feck me! talk about rip off!! the journey went well, kids were well excited. after 20 mins or so i needed a toilet break so went and did a number 2 as we were under the english channel. i was still on the toilet when we came out of the tunnel 25 mins later. after 2hrs we finally arrived at camp disney! hoorah!!
left bags with disney express and headed off to the disneyland park. as we walked in we saw our first character, Duffy the bear. the person in the costume was fab. very friendly and funny! we enjoyed him or her. after a few minutes duffy was bored of us and so moved onto his next victims. we carried on our way down main street and admired the castle and surroundings.

our first ride was the phanton manor (but i told my son it was the haunted mansion from Scooby do just to get him to go in it!) he enjoyed the ride as much as i did. we then moved onto thunder mountain but saw the 55min wait so we moved on somemore.........we headed off down to woodys round up area, which was fantastic last time we went there, but this time it wasnt so fantastic. in fact its a total waste of space at present. so we went to the indian village park to have a play on the swings and stuff. i saw a lovely Korean lady in the park wearing very tight hot pants which put a very big smile on an old mans face i can tell you! hubba hubba...........
after burning my belly trying to go down the kids slide frontwards much to my sons amusement, we moved onto indian jones, pirate ship, and pirates of the carribean.

i think we did its a small world, pinnochio, snow white, dumbo, teascups and buzz lightyear ride that first half day we were there, before we all went back to the cheyenne for an early night. i think the trainlag made us tired and the time difference also affected us greatly along with the humidity and the fact that euro disney is 5000ft above sea level so the altitude affected our breathing.

Can I just say that I am LOVING your TR - I have had to explain to my colleagues what I am laughing about!! :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

this is a very serious and in depth trip report so why people are laughing at it i have no idea:confused3

We saw Einstein in the hotel - although didn't manage a photo. I think he was counting the number of hotel guests they couldn't fit in the restaurant for breakfast due to the number of people in there not staying in the hotel, but visiting/paying for breakfast :rotfl2::lmao:.

Anyway, loving the TR - not sure about the number 2 a bit tmi but we all love a "nose" on here as you said :coffee::rotfl2:.

oh this is brill!!! no way will my tr follow this - ima leave it a month so mine dont look boring lol

keep up the good work :thumbsup2 (love the duffy pic!!)

We spent most of the first afternoon in Fantasyland wondering about like a bunch of awestruck zombies. The kids were a nightemare, all hyper and running around like headless chickens......

as tea time approached we headed back towards the castle and decided to fuel up in the Plaza. The grub served here was fantastic. they had chips and everything! Landed like. they even had "proper" coke! we ate like kings that day.

We decided to go back to the hotel and try and find our room at the cheyenne, we needed to get back before nightfall because we knew the Cowboys and Indians would be out at darkfall and we didnt want to get caught in their crossfire. Passing through the village the kids saw a stage and decided to bust some moves on the dancefloor......

We managed to sneak into our room without getting caught by Jeronimo, all knackered and worn out. The kids and i sat and watched mum unpack. Good job mum! We waited for mum to find our pj's and get us ready for beddy byes. i was a bit grisily i must admit, but it was only because i was over-tired. We had our bottles of milk and went to bed and nodded off to the land of nod instantly.

and that was day one i think in a nutshell.

For days 2-5, would you like me to keep things brief or would you like me to eleborate a bit more?
