Day THREE

:o Woke up and got ready for Early Entry to Magic Kingdom!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:
We were on the bus by 7:30 I think. The sky looked like it was going to rain for sure. It was very foggy and dense with mist.
We had been talking about going on the Haunted Mansion since before our trip. We really wanted Kayla to go on it and not be spooked. She was a little afraid, but we kept telling her she could close her eyes if she was scared.
When we were going through the baggage check at the entrance, it was sooo funny. Kayla crammed in all four of her stuffed animals in her backpack (for moral support). I thought she was only bringing the one little tiger we bought at animal kingdom. It was hilarious.
I'll tell you what, that extra hour at MK is so worth it! We got on so many rides in that hour. I didn't know that some sections of park are closed during that time though- so we couldn't do haunted mansion til later. But we hit Peter pan, indy cars, got a fast pass for space mountain, rode buzz lightyear, and the transit train ride. For the rest of the day the crowds were heavy as expected. We went to the big thunder railroad and got a fast pass, had a snack, then rode that ride. Got a fast pass for splash mountain and just relaxed while waiting. (most of the rides were a long wait other wise, I was running out of steam- Feet throbbing and I was still limping from blisters) So we took it easy. Splash mountain was great! Then we took the train to toon town to see mickey and minnie's house. We met minnie and chip and dale.
{oh and I forgot to mention that at AK the day before we met Mickey, donald, pooh, eeyore, and piglet!- Piglet was a big bonus, kayla and I both wanted to meet him but I didn't think that he would be there}
We finished up the afternoon with Lunch, Pirates of Cribbean, jungle cruise and the swiss family tree house. At that point it was about 3pm and I was so tired, and we were all getting hot, so we went to CS for a rest. I took a much needed nap. Ed and Kayla went swimming. We traveled back to MK for the fireworks. It was starting to rain around 6, but we put our rain jackets on and went anyway crossing our fingers that the show would still go on. Many people were leaving park, I guess assuming that it would be cancelled. It wasn't raining hard but it was sprinkling pretty good. We found a great spot in front of castle under a tree. Kayla and I sat in grass. They canceled the cinderella show that was supposed to be at 6:40, but they did NOT cancel the fireworks! They said it has to be really pouring for them to cancel. So we got to see the fireworks after all!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: It was great!

We had dinner after that at the Mayan Grill at CS. Dinner was good. It poured hard for about 20 minutes while we were eating, then it stopped all together when we walked back to our room.
We soaked in jaccuzzi for a little bit and didn't get to bed until 11 or 12.
The end of another magical day!:) :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Your dd packing her beanies for support made me smile and reminded me of my dd - a fun day for all - thanks for posting!
