I'm very new to all this DVD formatting stuff but this afternoon I managed to put all my photos from the recent trip onto DVD as a slideshow with various tracks from Une Journee playing in the background - some of them even match the photos; Dancin' with Parade photos, Yo Ho with POTC photos, Small World with IASW photos etc.. Denise is in bed recovering so after toiling over it all afternoon I took it in and we watched it together - so great seeing our DLRP photos on TV!

Just wanted to share the joy of my accomplishment with you all :cool1:

Well done Steve.

Jason always transfers the video that he takes onto DVD and the children have got their own copies. They love watching them over and over again - must admit I do too!

Well done Steve - I'm really impressed!!! :worship: It must be lovely to have a very personal DVD to enjoy over many years to come.

Well done Steve! I have given my sister this odious task ;) but she is taking her time doing it - I am well impressed you've done it already!!

I'm impressed as I've not yet work out all nuiances of copying to DVD.
Nice to have your own personnal reminder :goodvibes

Well done Steve, I'm impressed

I woke up early so rather than start work early I decided a DVD sleeve for our photo DVD was a much better use of time! :rolleyes1

Wow Steve. That is really fantastic! I am really impressed!!!!

Great idea Steve - it looks very professional!

Oh that is lovely Steve! You are clever!

I decided to design a newer, better (I hope) cover, and here it is...
...bonus points to anyone who can guess where all the photos are from!

Ohh, very cool! The new one is even better, Steve. :) I like the way you've got a little '15' certificate, lol! Although I worry about what you could have taken a photo of in Disneyland to make a DVD a 15! 'Mild peril', perhaps?! :p

Can I ask what software you used to create the DVD?

To create the DVD I used Roxio.

I used a 15 certificate because I wanted one with a bit of colour, E is boring and PG and U are yellow and green respectively - I wanted red! Nothing to warrant the certificate, though the pirates were quite nasty!

I can't imagine anyone would want to buy our holiday snaps!

I just enjoy making DVD and CD covers for stuff I do myself - makes them look nicer on the shelves!

Wow thats really impressive Steve. Just bought the "new" DLRP dvd while we were there, you're cover is Much better :goodvibes
