My Travel?

Hi Guys,

Need your assistance once again.

Has anyone heard of/travelled with a charter company "My Travel"

Can you adivse the Good, Bad and the Ugly!

I believe MyTravel is the new name for Airtours. Most people this side of the pond would say " Avoid like the plague!" I flew with them once back in '97. The fact that this was the one and only time I ever did should tell you something! They messed up the seat reservations, the meal orders, in-flight entertainment was poor and the plane was cramped to put it mildly! If anyone has had a more pleasant experience with them, then I'd like to hear about it!!

i believe they were an amalgamation(sp) of airtours and air2000.

we've flown with them twice. once to cyprus and they sucked. once to the carribean and they were average. if they are alot cheaper then go with them as they tend to use their nicer planes for the longer haul flights but if the difference is small book someone nicer.

a little FYI i used to work in an airport and my travel had an awful reputation.

Air2000 were/are First Choice. They seemed to win lots of industry awards but I think it's all branded First Choice now.

Don't know for a fact but whenever I used to hear horror stories about holidays I just knew it would end up being Airtours. Probably why they rebranded!

We travelled with them 2 years ago and travelled in the Premier Class part of plane, it was great, very comfortable. I believe that if you travelled regular class, it was cramped and uncomfortable.

The financial woes of this company keep on increasing, further heavy losses announced in the last few days and the chairman struggling to get a financial restructering off the ground.

It's my boss who will be flying into Heathrow.

They will be travelling next May.

He is, let's just say very frugal, and BA was not in his price range!

oooh right i see your travelling from canada to here my mistake. suggest to him he tries an airline called northwest. their based out of minesota and fly all over the north of the USA and canada as well as to london. very cheap flights and very good quality.
