Hi all,
Hope all is going well. I have just a small worry that My travel will go bust soon, we used them to go to florida last year and they where great. The reason we did use them was for the premiair gold section on the plane as well as the easy access to the car rental company at Sanford.

We would like to use the next year do you think this is a wise idea?

Thanks in advance.

We are booked with them for our Xmas trip so I hope things will be ok ... we didn't book until last month and they were the only one offering the dates we needed, either that or AA which is another uncertain one.

As far as I was aware things aren't that bad but I wouldn't recommend anything it's your call.

Sorry can't be more helpful:wave:

Hi

They still have their abta bonding and their certificate to fly, so if anything went wrong you would get your money back.

Personally - I would still book it.

DH dabbles in the stockmarket and some of his dealing accounts send e-mails about companies. MyTravel looks to be on the verge of collapse, however it is most likely to be sold off in bits before a total meltdown happens.

Personally, I wouldnt book (even though we used them last year and were impressed), sure you will get your money back, but it could take ages. If another airline or tour operator buys them out, they may not honour prices or flights booked. You may not then, be able to get the dates you want. I think you said your booking was some way off, so leave it at least another month (if they survive till May/June (peak holiday time) then they might stay afloat.

Hope that helps.
Allie.

Thanks guys,
i think i might just wait and see what happens in the near future.

If you did decide to book with My Travel...........wouldn't you be nervous from the time of booking right up to arriving at the airport...then from arriving in Florida until you got on the plane home ?? ( i know I would ! )...just in case the worst happened.

Personally I'd be looking elsewhere, we did Premier seats with another airline so i agree with that side of it ......but just about everywhere is equidistant to the car rental booths at Sanford.

Good luck with any decision you make
