The last night of our vacation (Saturday at the end of Jersey Week:scared: ) I plan to make a 6:30pm ADR at Tony's and hope to have a patio seat for Spectro.

Plan if we DO get a patio table: enjoy the meal, watch 8pm Spectro from the patio and leave right after to catch a place for the 9pm WISHES. Will I be able to find a decent place on Main Street to watch WISHES right after Spectro?

Plan if we DON'T get a patio table: eat at Tony's and miss the first parade. Watch 9pm WISHES and then 10pm SPECTRO from Frontierland after dinner. I figure we'll be done by around 8pm and can catch the train over to Frontierland.

Do you like my plans??? :confused3
Thanks!

Yes! Sounds great. And if you see the second parade, you can scoot right after and miss the crowds that will head out after the second Wishes.

Pretty saavy . . .

Check on the train, I believe it stops running once it gets dark.

MK at night gets crazy. We were there one week, and tried to get out of the hub area after wishes. It was a mob scene. You literally could not move. We ended up going back to Tomorrowland and leaving through the backstage area.

Trying to scoot out after is hard because people are not moving and giving up their spots. This is why we only see wishes every 2nd or 3rd trip. I can't stand the crowd level!

i have 8:45 reservations there for my vacation... i guess thats the second parade?? i was planning on going to the restaurant first thing in the morning, telling them i have an 8:45 ressie, and ask for a patio seat then and then say something again when i go for the actual meal... i donno, maybe its worth a try =\

Yes - it is crazy. When we stay, we watch the parade at Fronteirland, right by the walkway to Adventureland, then head over to POC, ride again, then head to Fantasyland to see if we can make it on Peter Pan one last time. Last year, they were closing down and the CM told us to jump on! When we come out Wishes is exploding over our heads! So fun! Then we take our time strolling thru the park.

But if you have NOT seen Wishes, you need to see it from Main Street at least once to get it's full effects.

Train runs after dark but stops during the parade(they make you get off). We found this out the hard way, wound up on the back sideat Toontown, then kicked off and had to walk back to the front of the park.:sad2:

Love your plans! :thumbsup2

We did this exact thing in June 2004...but without actually planning it. We had an 8pm reservation at Tony's and had a bit of a wait for a table. We asked to sit on the porch on a whim since it was so nice out. We got great table and had a great view of the 9pm Spectro parade. The people lined up for the parade will block your view of the bottom of the floats, but that's a small price to pay.

The food left a lot to be desired for us, but it was one of those awesome "Only at Disney" experiences.
