My Tip! Wear Deodorant!!

That is SO gross! SO GROSS!

On the other hand, I am cracking up laughing. And I am trying to laugh QUIETLY because the babies I nanny are sleeping!

Goat-men, perfume bathers, feminine offenders, washing machine phobics, what's next? Maybe I don't want to know!

OMG I can't believe my last post was so poorly spelled. The tears in my eyes from laughing so hard must have temporarily blinded me. I usually check over my posts. Sorry all!

Don't get me wrong, I totally know what you are talking about. It was just so funny actually reading about all of the shocking incidents.
You all know that the people who are the commiters of the smell probably do not read these boards - or are in denial. Too bad.

who did 'the smell test' on clothes in college and then sprayed deodorant on the clothes if they smelled? :D any theme park down here in the summer is a giant soup bowl of bacteria.

I dated boys who picked clothes out of the moutain of dirty laundry, but I never did it. I never knew ANY girls who did it! Two boys come to mind specifically, and DH and I have been together for over 14 years. Those smelly boys sure leave a lasting impression! (DH, by the way, has lovely hygeine habits.)

About 20 years ago I was on a bus in Marseilles, France going to the beach outside of town. Let me tell you, there's a reason perfume is big there. The combination of body odor and sickly sweet perfume made me open my window and stick my head out to inhale the bus fumes because they smelled better. We dealt with it because we were guests in their country, and I really wish they would all extend us the same courtesy.

Then there's the women (and sometimes men with cologne) who get off an elevator and the smell of their perfume stays behind to choke you because they bathed in it.

I've had grocery checkers and discount store checkers both foreign and US smell so strong with BO that I've had to turn my head to breathe. I would think in customer service jobs, it would be mentioned, but I guess everyone's afraid of being accused of intolerance of a culture or something. I think it's infringing on my right to not barf. Oh well, what can you do? Be rude and mention it? Or just faint from holding your breath.

Call me crazy...I just spent 10 min actually reading this thread!!! Thanks for the laugh of the day :flower1:
