My timer is moving WAY too slow!!!!

Okay, we planned this trip only a few months ago (in January). My timer is finally at a week out, but it is killing me...I must check it 100 times a day...

How do you all do it (especially those with larger numbers??)

When we get back from this trip, DH says I can plan the next one! But that won't be until 10/06...I don't think I will be able to see my timer at over 500 days....

We tend to only plan our trips 20-60(ish) days out. I could never watch it from several hundred!!! This one I got, was a trip we started planning about 10 days ago. It's moving slow enough, so I would be more than willing to trade you!!! HAVE A GREAT TRIP!!

This is the longest timer I've had so far. My problem with long countdowns is that they tend to result in longer trips! Every time I look at it, I think "Well, if I went a day or so earlier, the countdown would be less." Two years ago I ended up with a 17-day trip because of it!

My timer might get longer....DH wants to move our trip to November instead of August.....the weather will be better, and we'll get to see the Christmas decorations, but that's a lllooooonnnnnnggggggg time away!

Two days before our last trip....I couldn't sleep at all because I was so close yet so far away.

The night before the trip...It snow and snow and snow...I thought flights would be cancelled so I stayed up all night watch the snow fall. I sleep 2 hours of the 3 hour plan ride.

As you can see from my timer, we have a long way to go. And my wife, although she loves it at Disney is telling me we might have to wait longer. I told her we cannot wait longer than the end of 06!!!! It's killing me already!!!

I know what you mean. I keeping thinking, can't Oct get here any sooner?? I am about to go nuts. I keep thinking... I could plan a trip for next year now...
I will have a DDE and AP from the Oct trip....hmmmmmmmmmmm.......my husband thinks I am crazy.

I feel your pain.

Ours seemed to be moving pretty fast, but this stupid LLLOOONNNGGG winter we have been having is making it move Oh so slow.

Our original plan was to go in Feb., but decided to wait till April, to recover from Christmas, and to go for our 15th anniversery. We have a serious case of the "we could be there right now"

These last few days are torturous. Especially when it's dumping down buckets of rain. At least in the beginning of January, I was distracted by buying a new car. Although that is a very expensive way to get distracted from your countdown clock. LOL
