HI

This time in 2 weeks I will hopefully be halfway through my Virgin flight to Florida!!

My tickets have yet to arrive from Virgin and I have bought my theme tickets from Floridatix.com and paid Special Delivery and they have yet to come although I only rang and ordered them on Thursday just though paying Special Delivery would mean they would be here by now!!!...should I be on the phone yet to Virgin/Floridatix and start querying & worrying??

I ordered my park tickets from Floridatix and they came the next day, if you paid special delivery then it wouldn't hurt to phone them and ask them where they are if only to put your mind at rest. We had our holiday tickets come today and we are leaving in 10 days, they seem to send these tickets out anytime between 10 to 14 days before departure and some maybe 7 days. You can always phone them if you are worried I did because we booked it through the internet and I wanted to make sure.

Hiya

I would give them a call so you can be assured what is happening.

I hope you have a great trip.

Regards
Michelle

I'd give them a chase, shouldn't panic too much its really not unusual but if you've paid special delivery for an item it wouldn't hurt to chase it up after all,. they might not realise you haven't recieved them

Hi,

I'm travelling with thomas cook in 2 weeks time and I got my tickets
last Monday 15/8/05, not sure how virgin work but I would be on the
phone to them to see if your tickets had been sent or were about to
be sent out.

I find it so strange that we can fork out thousands of pounds for our holidays,
and all the travel companies say you have to pay up 8 - 12 wks before your travel date is due - but they will keep hold of our PAID tickets until the very last minute. Good luck I hope your tickets come soon.

We went with Virgin in June and got our tickets 8 days before we were due to go. When we rang Virgin to enquire about the tickets they said they all get sent out between 10-14 days.

Hope your tickets turn up very soon so you can relax and look forward to your trip :)

Oh my God!! It was only reading this thread that I suddenly realised my tickets may be here in the next week!

We go 3 weeks today, and delivery of tickets hadn't even entered my head! I'll be watching for the post every morning now!

Hope you all get yours soon, too!

HI
Thanks for the advise and support!!....Both sets Virgin tickets and theme park tickets) came today ( I could of hugged the postman!!) Checked everything and all seems correct!!
Was a little surprised at the Virgin Flight tickets...seem really old fashioned!!..but whi cares aslong as I am on that plane...12 days to go and nearly into single figures!
Must start thinking of doing a packing list and maybe a daily plan of what we are going to do whilst there!

Same here too! I have tried to do a plan but I haven't got enough days so I gave up. :rotfl:

I just paid off our holiday and was told theme park and flight tix would arrive about 7 days before departure (flying with Virgin).

To all those of you who are panicking don't worry to much - last trip our tickets got stuck in the postal strike and we ended up picking them up at Twilight check in. It was stressful at the time but looking back it all went smoothly anyway so this year I'm not worrying :0)

I need to buy new suitcases yet aswell!!...Sorry am I really that bad?? Do most people plan well in advance?? I have done some priority seating arrangements though so will schedule everything around them!!...10 days and counting!!
Also can I ask if anyone has stayed at CBR?? What building would you suggest to request. I have a voucher that entitles me to an upgrade/preferred location which I won from Virgin I need to ring CBR 48 hrs prior to arriving but was not going to bother...is it worth it??

I have a plan - purely because we are only going for a week so needed to make sure we could fit everything in. I just went by the busy/quiet day guide and avoided EMH.
